Majalah Forbes menyatakan bekas pelajar Harvard itu mempunyai kekayaan peribadi sebanyak 1.5 bilion dolar, berdasarkan apa yang dinyatakan 5 bilion dollar adalah untuk Facebook. Spekulasi menyatakan Facebook bernilai sebanyak 15 bilion dollar dan Microsoft telah membayar 240 juta dollar untuk 1.6% kepentingan dalam syarikat tahun lepas.“He is the youngest billionaire in the world right now and we also believe he is the youngest self-made billionaire in history,” said the magazine’s Associate Editor Matthew Miller, unveiling this year’s super-rich list.
